Lamb Shoulder Roast
This part of the animal works hard, so the meat from a lamb’s shoulder is full of flavor. Because of this, it can take a while to become tender, which means it’s a great choice for stewing and slow-roasting - thing "set it and forget it". To maximize the flavor, cook lamb shoulder on the bone so the meat simply falls apart when pulled with a fork. Best done low and slow in the oven or crockpot, though Liese has been known to roast our lamb roasts on the grill for extra smokey flavor.
